1. Privacy Policy

1.1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how the Scientific Calculator Pro mobile application (the “App”) handles information. The App is developed and published by an individual developer (“we”, “us”, “our”) based in Spain.

1.2. What the App does

Scientific Calculator Pro provides mathematical calculation tools, including basic arithmetic, scientific functions, fractions, memory, history, precision controls, themes, and a home screen widget.

1.3. Data we collect directly

We do not require you to create an account or log in. We do not directly collect, store, or sell personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

1.4. App data stored locally

The App stores certain data locally on your device only to provide its core features. This includes:

• Calculation history;
• Calculator settings (angle mode, precision, format, theme);
• Memory register values;
• Fraction display preferences.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

1.5. Device permissions

Scientific Calculator Pro does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as contacts, location, camera, microphone, or storage.

1.6. Advertising (banner ads)

The App displays a single banner advertisement using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob is a third-party service that may automatically collect certain information from your device to display and measure ads, such as:

• Approximate location (derived from IP address);
• Device identifiers (such as advertising ID);
• App interaction data (for example, ad views and clicks);
• Basic app diagnostics.

This data is processed by Google in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and Ads Policy .

1.7. Legal basis (EEA / UK users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the processing of advertising data may be based on your consent, where required by law. The App may display a consent dialog (for example via Google’s User Messaging Platform) allowing you to manage ad personalization preferences.

1.8. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for users aged 16 and older, or for use under parental or guardian supervision, subject to local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

1.9. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Advertising-related data is processed by Google and its partners according to their own policies.

1.10. Your choices

• You may limit or reset ad personalization in your device settings;
• You may uninstall the App at any time;
• All locally stored data is removed when the App is uninstalled.

1.11. Security

The App does not maintain a user database. Advertising data processed by Google is transmitted using industry-standard security measures. No system is completely secure.

1.12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the App means acceptance of the updated policy.

2. Terms & Conditions

2.1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Scientific Calculator Pro (the “App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2.2. Use of the App

The App provides mathematical calculations for informational and educational purposes. While care is taken to ensure correctness, results should not be relied upon for critical, professional, or safety-related decisions.

2.3. Advertising

The App includes a banner advertisement to support ongoing development. No interstitial or disruptive ads are used.

2.4. Acceptable use

• Minimum recommended age is 16, subject to local law;
• You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or modify the App;
• You agree to comply with Google Play policies and applicable laws.

2.5. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including code, design, and branding, remain with the developer. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.

2.6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that calculations will be error-free or suitable for all purposes.

2.7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

2.8. Changes and termination

We may update or discontinue features at any time. You may stop using the App by uninstalling it.

2.9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Consumer protection laws may apply depending on your country of residence.
